What Pixmint is
Pixmint is a web app for making and editing images with AI. You can send the same prompt to image models from Google (Nano Banana), OpenAI (GPT Image) and ByteDance (Seedream) and compare the results, add reference images, or use photo tools: a shadow remover, an object remover, a background remover (white background output) and a free-form AI image editor.
Live models: Seedream 5.0 Flash, Seedream 4.0, Seedream 5.0 Pro, GPT Image 2, GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2, Nano Banana Pro. Guests can try Seedream 5.0 Flash without an account; the other models need a free account and credits.
Who runs it
Pixmint is operated by an independent founder and is self-funded. It is a small service, not a large company. Contact: support@pixmint.ai. Mail sent there is forwarded to the person who runs the site.
Pixmint is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google, OpenAI, ByteDance or xAI. Nano Banana and Gemini are Google marks, GPT Image is an OpenAI mark, Seedream is a ByteDance mark, and Grok is an xAI mark; all model names belong to their owners and are used here only to say which model makes an image.
How it works and who sees your data
When you generate or edit an image, the site first runs an AI safety check on your prompt and on small copies of any images you send, then forwards the request to the model you chose. When the model returns an image, the same kind of check looks at a small copy of that image before it is stored in Cloudflare storage and shown to you.
Pixmint does not run the image models itself. It reaches them through two kinds of provider:

Hosting, the database, image storage, email delivery of sign-in codes and the Turnstile bot check run on Cloudflare. Pixmint does not use your prompts or images to train models. The privacy policy lists what is stored and for how long.
Free use and paid plans
Free today: guests get 5 images a day with Seedream 5.0 Flash and 3 photo-tool runs a day; free accounts get 50 credits on first sign-in plus 20 every day. Free outputs are up to 1024 px, watermarked and for personal non-commercial use.
Paid plans: planned, not available yet. Paid plans are planned but not available yet, so nothing can be bought today (see pricing). Details are on the pricing page.

Early version, honest limits
Pixmint is a new service. It does not offer video, upscaling or unblur, an API, a mobile app or transparent PNG cutouts. Example images on the model and comparison pages were generated on 2026-10-22 with the prompts shown, one run per prompt; they illustrate each model and are not benchmarks. Image models can change details of your photo, so always compare an edit with your original.
