Terms of Use
The rules for using Pixmint. They are written to be read: short sections, plain words.
Last updated:
1. Who we are
Pixmint (pixmint.ai, "Pixmint", "we") is an independent service operated by an individual founder. Contact: support@pixmint.ai. These terms apply to your use of pixmint.ai and its tools (the "Service"). By using the Service, including by ticking the box before your first generation, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy and the content policy.
2. Who can use Pixmint
You must be 18 or older. Pixmint is not for children. Pixmint does not allow adult content of any kind.
3. Accounts
You can use the free guest allowance without an account. To use the other models you sign in with your email address: we send a one-time code. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your mailbox secure. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page; this removes your credits, history and stored images.
4. Free use and credits
- Without an account: 5 images a day with Seedream 5.0 Flash only, plus 3 photo-tool runs a day.
- Free account: 50 credits on first sign-in plus 20 credits every day, usable on all 7 models. Daily credits expire at the end of the UTC day.
- Free outputs (guests and free accounts) are up to 1024 px, carry a small "pixmint.ai" watermark and are for personal, non-commercial use.
- Credits are a unit for using the Service, not money, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Failed images are refunded and requests blocked by the safety check are not charged.
- Free use is limited by a site-wide daily cost cap. When it is reached, free generation pauses until the next UTC day.
- We may change allowances, prices and the list of models at any time; changes apply to future use.
5. Paid plans
Paid plans are planned but are not available yet, and nothing can be bought today. The prices on the pricing page are planned prices. Refund terms for purchases will be published together with checkout, and these terms will be updated before any payment is taken.
6. What you create: output rights
- Pixmint does not claim ownership of the images you create or upload.
- Commercial use is planned to come with paid plans, which are not available yet, so today free outputs are for personal, non-commercial use only.
- AI-generated images may not be unique: the same or a similar prompt can give similar images to other people, and images made by AI may not be protected by copyright where you live.
- You are responsible for your prompts and uploads. You must have the rights you need and must not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
- The terms and usage policies of the model providers (Google, OpenAI, ByteDance and Volcengine) may also apply to what you create. Check them if you plan a use that matters.
7. Acceptable use
Follow the content policy. In short: no sexual content, nothing involving minors, no non-consensual edits of real people, no deceptive deepfakes, no fake identity documents, no removing watermarks or copyright marks from images you do not own, and nothing illegal. Only upload photos you have the right to use.
Do not try to get around limits, the human check or the safety check, and do not use scripts or bots to use the free tier. We may block requests, remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Safety checks
Every request (your prompt and a small copy of any image you send) is screened by an AI classifier before it runs, after a keyword filter. A blocked request is not charged. Automated checks are not perfect: they can miss harmful requests and sometimes block harmless ones. Each finished image is also screened (a small copy plus the prompt) before you receive it. An image that shows sexual content or involves minors is withheld and refunded; an image with another problem, or one that shows a real person, is delivered to you but can never be shared publicly; if the check cannot run, the image stays private until it is re-checked. Reports from people still matter (see the gallery section).
9. Public gallery
Text-to-image results of signed-in users can appear in the public gallery. Free accounts share new results by default; accounts that bought credits keep results private by default. You can see the current setting before you generate, switch any result between Public and Private, change the default on the Account page, or delete a result at any time. Never shared: guest images, photo edits, tool results, images made from reference images, and anything our safety check flags as showing a real person.
When an image is public, you allow Pixmint to display it, with its prompt and a watermark, in the gallery and on its own page until you make it private or delete it. Other people can see, save and link to a public image, and search engines may index its page. Do not put personal data, real people or other people's work in prompts you share. Anyone can report a gallery image. Reports are weighted (reports from established accounts count more than guest reports, one account or device counts once, and you cannot report your own image), and an image is hidden automatically while we review it once enough reports add up; it may then be removed. A report about sexual content or a minor also triggers an immediate automated re-check of the image.
10. Third-party providers
The Service sends your prompt and images to third-party model providers to make your result: ByteDance's Volcengine Ark (mainland China) for Seedream, and a third-party API relay service for GPT Image, Nano Banana and the safety check. Their availability, behavior and rules are outside our control. Models can change or be withdrawn, and results from the same model can differ over time. The about page and the privacy policy explain what each provider receives.
11. Your content and our permission to run it
You give Pixmint permission to process your prompts and images only to provide the Service: to send them to the provider you chose, to store them for the retention period, to show them to you, and, for images you make public, to show them in the gallery.
12. Retention and deletion
Results are kept 24 hours for guests and 7 days for free accounts (30 days is planned for paid accounts), or until you delete them. Public gallery items stay until their owner deletes them or they are removed after review. See the privacy policy.
13. No guarantee
AI results can be wrong, unexpected, offensive or different from your original photo, even when a tool is instructed to keep faces, text and details. Always check results before you rely on or publish them. The Service is provided as is and as available, without promises about uptime, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Pixmint and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Copyright and other complaints
If you believe content made with Pixmint infringes your rights, email support@pixmint.ai with a link to the content, the work or right concerned, and your contact details. We aim to review reports promptly and may hide or remove the content while we do. Use the Report button on a gallery page for other problems.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version (this version: 2026-10-23). If a change is significant we will say so on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
